Are you one of those people who are convinced God doesn’t exist? Maybe you think that Jesus lived, but He was only a prophet. Maybe you are not that person, but you know someone who is?

Maybe you are really sure that God doesn’t exist, but you would not say that you are 100% sure. Maybe, you could say the same about your feelings about Jesus; you are sure He was just a well known prophet or philosopher and you are quite sure that He was not God in the flesh. You might even describe yourself as 99% sure.

Heaven or Hell
Christians believe that you must accept Jesus Christ as your Savior in order to go to Heaven. Christians base that belief on several passages in the Bible where even Jesus Himself says that it is so. Christians believe that people who die without accepting Christ are forever separated from God. That means that those people do not go to Heaven. Christ described Heaven as paradise.

The Bible also talks about Hell. It is a bad place, far worse than anyone can imagine. After death, a person will spend eternity in one place or the other. Not just a lifetime, but eternity.

Not Completely Sure?
If you are 99% confident that you are right about God or Jesus and you know the consequences of not accepting Christ, as Christians believe it, what about that other 1%? If you are willing to concede with just a 1% possibility that Christians are right, is it worth spending eternity in Hell to ignore that 1%?

You can keep your 99% certainty, but just in case, you should go to the About page of this website and pray the prayer that you will find there. Just in case.

If you are a Christian and you know someone who is very certain that God doesn’t exist or they don’t believe that Jesus was God in the flesh, then have them read this posting and the About page.

People Change
There is one thing you should know in the interest of full disclosure. Once you pray the prayer on the About page, there is a very good chance that the 1% will increase and the 99% will decrease.

Jesus told us that we would not know the moment of His return. Many academic theologians and others tell us that we should not bother to speculate about the end times because of this. Christ did tell us that we would not know the moment of His return, but He never said that we would not recognize the signs that His return was near.

Those signs are discussed at length in the Bible. There have been predictions about the end times over the years and many have been confident that the Rapture was near. Many dates have proven erroneous and this has added to the general speculation by Christians and non-believers alike.

The Reality Today
Today, the world has a convergence of signs and prophetic events that have not been rivaled in the past. The governments who had peaceful agreements with Israel have recently been overthrown and replaced by anti-Jewish groups that foresee the destruction of the Jewish state. Our own administration in the U.S. takes a less-friendly view of Israel also. One of the biggest threats to Israel, Iran is now a nuclear power, and has said they would wipe Israel from the face of the earth.

Natural disasters, often predicted in the Bible and spoken of by Christ Himself, have been on the rise in recent years. Christianity is being replaced by “false doctrines” including a growing number of Atheists among young people. Lifestyles and practices that the Bible terms “abominations in the sight of God” are on the increase.

Many prophesies have already come to fruition and have set the stage for the events that were predicted to occur afterwards. Christians are being murdered daily for their faith with many recent examples documented on this website.

Make a Good Decision Today
These events are all a reminder to the believer and non-believer; consider renewing your faith or asking Christ into your life. Whether you term the events spoken of in the Bible as the End Times, last days, Tribulation, 2nd Coming, the rise of the anti-Christ or simply the Return of Christ, you should know that something is happening. You don’t want to be a non-believer when the first stone drops.

Visit our About page and say the prayer that you find there. This isn’t about scaring someone into becoming a Christian. This is appealing to that 1% or 2% chance that you are willing to give me that I am right. Eternity is a long time. Even when you are 99% sure of your position.

God is so vast, so big, so awesome, that your biggest problems are small in comparison. For that reason, you should trust that God can handle them with ease. Read what Steve Hill says about this and who he quotes:

How many of us take the time to stop and think about the big-ness of God? Is there any problem or circumstance larger than the Maker of the universe? Robert South, theologian from the 1600′s once wrote on this subject:

“We have a very lame and imperfect conception of our great God. And the reason is very clear. We are forced to understand that which is infinite, after a finite manner. Simply put: one thing receives another, not according to the full size of the object, but according to the scanty scope of its own capacity. If we let down a vessel into the sea, we shall bring up not what the sea can afford, but only what the vessel can hold: and just so it is in our understanding of God.”

A Christian and an Atheist were sitting side by side at a lunch counter. The Christian had no idea that the stranger next to him was an Atheist, but the Atheist could see the other guy’s Bible and knew that he was a Christian. It was late in the morning and the Christian was eating an omelet and having a glass of juice. The Atheist was having an early lunch and enjoying a sandwich and a can of soda.

The two exchanged observations about the morning’s weather and then the Atheist asked the Christian how he could believe in God since he had never seen Him. He went on to state that the Christian never touched God or sensed Him in any way. Why would he have any faith in a God who could not be experienced through any of the senses?

The Christian smiled at the Atheist and the invitation to share his thoughts. He looked down at the counter for a minute and glanced at the Atheist’s lunch. “How can you drink that can of soda,” asked the Christian. The Atheist looked perplexed. “What are you talking about,” he replied.

“I mean” continued the Christian, “how can you drink soda out of a can?” The Atheist gave him a puzzled look and said “I just do.” “What does this have to do with believing in a God you cannot see?”

“Well” said the Christian, “it has everything to do with believing in a God I cannot see.” “You have no idea what is really in that can, but you have faith in the soda’s maker that the contents are soda and that there is not something in the can that could hurt you.”

The Atheist did not answer right away. The Christian continued, “Although you cannot see through the can, you do not hesitate to drink the contents.” “That means that YOU have faith in something you cannot see.” “If you can have faith in something that might hurt you and are confident that it won’t, you have to understand that it is easy for me to have faith in a Being who would never hurt me, who I cannot see.”

The Atheist looked at the Christian and smiled, “I have to give it to you, I don’t have an answer for why I am comfortable drinking soda from a can, but I guess it is a sort of faith.”

The Christian, happy that he could make his point continued, “Did you ever consider that when a woman becomes pregnant that her womb prepares a series of mechanisms that sustain and nurture a baby while it develops? Could this just happen by chance or did a great architect design this amazing process?”

The Atheist, now thinking more about faith, stopped to ponder the question. The Christian went on,”And have you ever thought about the balance in nature, how different species of bugs and animals require others for their survival and have a co-dependence. Only a great intelligence could design such a system.”

The Atheist took another bite of his sandwich and picked up his can of soda to take another gulp. He hesitated for a minute and stared at the can. He saw the can, but not the soda. He then slowly drank the last of the soda. It was all soda just as he had been sure of. He looked back at the Christian. “Have a good day.” He paid his bill and left. “God bless you” said the Christian.
