It’s hard to focus on the true News of Joy that is Christmas when you have hateful, intolerant people killing innocent Christians around the world. It happened again today, Christmas Day, when Christians in Nigeria were exiting the Christmas mass at St. Theresa Catholic Church in the city of Madalla. So far, the death toll stands at 39 with dozens more injured. Christians are taught to love all of God’s children and to tolerate and love those in other religions. That can be said of those forcing Sharia law across Nigeria though. Read about it here.

Despite Christian persecution every day in many countries, Christians worldwide recognize Christmas day as a celebration of the News of Joy. The birth, life and death on the cross of Jesus Christ gives Christians hope. They strive to follow His example and live a life that includes charity and giving, kindness and compassion, core values and Biblical teachings. Christians aren’t perfect and real Christians will tell you that with a humble heart.

Christmas is a special time in the world. It is a time for the lessons that Christ taught. He instructed us to love our neighbor and to love God.

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas. If you don’t already know Jesus, make today the day that changes your life. You will see Christmas in a whole new light. The light of the world.

It would be a lot more enjoyable to live up to this site’s name and always bring good news. They Christian message is a message of good news, but the reaction to Christians by intolerant regimes is not a joyful message. Again, we have to report on another case of a Christian who may lose his life because of his faith. A pastor in Iran has been found guilty of apostasy and may be executed any day now. He has chosen to keep his faith in Jesus Christ and not renounce that faith as the Iranian authorities have demanded. Read the story here.

Are you one of those people who are convinced God doesn’t exist? Maybe you think that Jesus lived, but He was only a prophet. Maybe you are not that person, but you know someone who is?

Maybe you are really sure that God doesn’t exist, but you would not say that you are 100% sure. Maybe, you could say the same about your feelings about Jesus; you are sure He was just a well known prophet or philosopher and you are quite sure that He was not God in the flesh. You might even describe yourself as 99% sure.

Heaven or Hell
Christians believe that you must accept Jesus Christ as your Savior in order to go to Heaven. Christians base that belief on several passages in the Bible where even Jesus Himself says that it is so. Christians believe that people who die without accepting Christ are forever separated from God. That means that those people do not go to Heaven. Christ described Heaven as paradise.

The Bible also talks about Hell. It is a bad place, far worse than anyone can imagine. After death, a person will spend eternity in one place or the other. Not just a lifetime, but eternity.

Not Completely Sure?
If you are 99% confident that you are right about God or Jesus and you know the consequences of not accepting Christ, as Christians believe it, what about that other 1%? If you are willing to concede with just a 1% possibility that Christians are right, is it worth spending eternity in Hell to ignore that 1%?

You can keep your 99% certainty, but just in case, you should go to the About page of this website and pray the prayer that you will find there. Just in case.

If you are a Christian and you know someone who is very certain that God doesn’t exist or they don’t believe that Jesus was God in the flesh, then have them read this posting and the About page.

People Change
There is one thing you should know in the interest of full disclosure. Once you pray the prayer on the About page, there is a very good chance that the 1% will increase and the 99% will decrease.

Jesus told us that we would not know the moment of His return. Many academic theologians and others tell us that we should not bother to speculate about the end times because of this. Christ did tell us that we would not know the moment of His return, but He never said that we would not recognize the signs that His return was near.

Those signs are discussed at length in the Bible. There have been predictions about the end times over the years and many have been confident that the Rapture was near. Many dates have proven erroneous and this has added to the general speculation by Christians and non-believers alike.

The Reality Today
Today, the world has a convergence of signs and prophetic events that have not been rivaled in the past. The governments who had peaceful agreements with Israel have recently been overthrown and replaced by anti-Jewish groups that foresee the destruction of the Jewish state. Our own administration in the U.S. takes a less-friendly view of Israel also. One of the biggest threats to Israel, Iran is now a nuclear power, and has said they would wipe Israel from the face of the earth.

Natural disasters, often predicted in the Bible and spoken of by Christ Himself, have been on the rise in recent years. Christianity is being replaced by “false doctrines” including a growing number of Atheists among young people. Lifestyles and practices that the Bible terms “abominations in the sight of God” are on the increase.

Many prophesies have already come to fruition and have set the stage for the events that were predicted to occur afterwards. Christians are being murdered daily for their faith with many recent examples documented on this website.

Make a Good Decision Today
These events are all a reminder to the believer and non-believer; consider renewing your faith or asking Christ into your life. Whether you term the events spoken of in the Bible as the End Times, last days, Tribulation, 2nd Coming, the rise of the anti-Christ or simply the Return of Christ, you should know that something is happening. You don’t want to be a non-believer when the first stone drops.

Visit our About page and say the prayer that you find there. This isn’t about scaring someone into becoming a Christian. This is appealing to that 1% or 2% chance that you are willing to give me that I am right. Eternity is a long time. Even when you are 99% sure of your position.
