Jesus and the Woman at the Well

People who know this story from the Bible have said that their eyes well up in tears as they watch it dramatized. It is the story of Jesus addressing a Samaritan woman (John 4:4) who has been a sinner all her life and he shows the compassion and love for this sinner only Jesus could offer. Jesus rests at Jacob’s well outside of Samaria. He asks the woman for a drink, but since she knew he was a Jew, and Jews did not normally associate with Samaritans, she was immediately defensive. You Must be Saved

Why do Christians talk about being SAVED?

The Bible actually talks about it A LOT.  You have to be saved to go to Heaven. There’s simply no other way. (watch for regular additions) Consider these scriptures: “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12  29The jailer called for lights, rushed in and fell trembling before Paul and Silas. 30He then brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”  31They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.” 32Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all the others in his house. 33At that hour of the night the jailer took them and washed their …
