There is a Christian meme which states that “The only thing that is really important is that your name is in the Lamb’s Book of Life.” I was reminded of this yesterday when my Dad passed away. When I was growing up, he was one of those people who attended church twice a year; Easter and Christmas Eve. He had grown up in a Christian home and I still have memories of my grandfather sitting in his favorite chair reading the Bible every time I would visit. I knew my Dad must have accepted Christ as a child, and been baptized, but I didn’t know for absolute sure. That is a troubling thought for a Christian.
